Frontline Games handheld game Duke Nukem Trilogy to develop.![]()
Duke Nukem Forever was officially since 1997 in the middle of development – more than any other game. Reasons for the long production time, including several changes of graphics engine and the internal problems of the team. But what exactly behind the scenes at 3D Realms was going on, never penetrated to the public. In particular, George Broussard was in all the years almost exclusively short, sometimes cryptic statements on the state of development itself. The game has received several awards from the Wired Vaporware Award – a dubious honor to products which, despite announcements by the manufacturers do not come onto the market.
