San Francisco (CA) – Nearly 8.5 million viewers from over 65 countries have stopped by in the past 7 weeks to watch the cute and fuzzy Shiba Inu puppies on ustream.tv. The puppies play, cavort, gallivant, romp and ooze love and joy. This has drawn a steady crowd of more than 20,000 viewers during peak times of the week.
No fuss, no mess
The pups have mass appeal for many reasons. They’re cute, happy and elicit smiles hand over first. And, when users get bored there’s always another website somewhere. In the mean time there’s no cleaning, no feeding, no walking the dog. Just happiness. And, like the grandparents enjoying the grandchildren, the joy is had and then they go somewhere else.

As of November 25, 2008, the site has received 8,485,131 views with more than 3,263 5-star ratings. Over 2,890 comments have been left. And today, November 28, the site went down for a couple hours while they reworked the pen. Immediately after they went live there were 28 viewers. Within 10 minutes there were over 6,000 viewers – and this on a holiday Friday.
